What’s New at Sunny Lane? Winter 2011
Sunny Lane Canine Academy in Sedro-Woolley, offers positive reinforcement training classes for puppies through seniors. Children 10 years and over are welcome to attend classes and other events. Carmen Williams also teaches classes at the Mt Vernon Parks and Recreation Academy and Tails-a-Wagging in Bellingham.

UPCOMING AND ONGOING EVENTS

DOGGIE SOCIAL CLUB, Sundays, May-October CLOSED FOR WINTER Get ready for some spring and summer fun for you and your doggie. The Doggie Social Club will open in MAY 2012. This event will be held each Sunday through October. Bad weather cancellation. Call first, if you are unsure. Temperament testing and dog shot records are required for all new dogs. Admission: $5.00 per doggie household. Small dogs and puppies under 20 lbs: 10:00-12:00 pm. Larger Dogs: 12:00-4:00 pm. Your dog wants to come!

DOGGIE MIDDLE SCHOOL (3-weeks) $60.00 Friday, December 2nd, noon Does your teen-age dog or Sunny Lane Alumni need a little more “polish”? If your once well-behaved dog has become sloppy in his behavior, perhaps he is going though the dreaded Doggie Adolescent period (6-months to2 years) This 3-week course may be just what you need to get back on track. This class is offered for socialized dogs, that have been taught the basics, but need a little more training. This refresher course will help re-teach the dog and the owner to work together as a team. We will focus on recall, leash walking, focus and handling techniques while increasing the human/doggie bond. There will also be fun and surprises for you and your dog. Your dog wants to come back to school!

"YOUNG AT HEART" WORKSHOP, Sun, January 15th, 12:00-4:00, Tails-a-Wagging, Bellingham This very special, hands-on workshop is designed for the senior dog, 7 years plus. There will be 3 instructors dedicated to giving you information and showing you techniques on life enrichment for the older dog. Details TBA in December.
