 You’ve
heard it said before, "A tired pup is a good pup" and it's
true! Many nuisance doggie behaviors are a result of boredom and too little
exercise. Dogs also need to be exposed to and have interaction with other dogs
and a variety of people in order to develop and maintain important social
skills. Sometimes, busy home and work schedules prevent us from meeting our
dog’s needs. Doggie day care centers and dog parks are great options for
exercise and socialization, but are not always convenient. There is now a
week-end alternative, where you and your dog can share quality time together
while you watch him romp, frolic, chase, and play with old and new doggie
friends!
The
Doggie Social Club is held at Sunny Lane Canine Academy between April and
September. These events are held on Saturday afternoons (bad weather could
cause cancellation, please call first) between 2:00pm and 6:00pm. These
events are open to all non-aggressive dogs that have been neutered or spayed
with up-to-date vaccinations. There is a nominal charge of $5.00 per dog.
Prior temperment testing required.
We
offer two separate large fenced areas for large and small dogs. These areas are
full of stimulating dog toys and exercise equipment. The playtimes are
monitored by professional dog trainers. Your dog wants to come!
