Carmen
Williams, lives with her two best friends, Riley (Collie), Trixie (Australian
Shepherd) and five cats at the Sunny Lane facility. She has taught classes for
the Parks and Recreation department in California and currently at Burlington
and Mt.Vernon in Washington. She worked as a Sr. Trainer for PetsMart for three
years. She owned Delta Home and Pet Services in California where she cared for
and trained pets before moving to Washington and opening Sunny Lane Canine
Academy in 2002.
She
has the title (CPDT), Certified Professional Pet Dog Trainer, graduated from
the San Francisco SPCA Dog Academy with a certificate in Dog Counseling (CC)
and is also an AKC Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator. Carmen is currently pursuing a
certification in the
International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC).
She
is supporter of many animal welfare groups including the Skagit Valley Humane
Socieity. She is a strong advocate for spay and neuter programs.
